I feel like I have no choice

I’ve tried everything to battle these thoughts, nothings worked. I feel like I have no choice but to give in and purge, it’s not my first time but it’s just so horrible everytime I do it. I don't know what else to do.

Here three generic ideas that occurred to me that might or might not apply to your situation.

1) Contact professional therapy providers covered by one's health plan. Find providers that seem to offer approaches that match the situation and would be most acceptable.

2) At the same time, look into all the various relevant therapy options, like ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or MI - Motivational Interviewing and any other relevant therapies for the situation. Then talk about them with people in step 1 above.

3) Join a support group and get on-going peer support from them also.

It's just a basic approach. That's all I can say given what you said so far.

Please forgive any typos above.

Hey, thank you so much for your reply! I'm not able to get therapy or professional health help so I'm kind of stuck. I'll try out the peer talking chats and see if that helps.

Once again thank you!

You're welcome.

When I have problems, I search the web a lot until I find the solutions I need even if it takes years. I eventually become very knowledgeable at how to solve my tricky problems from all the reading I do and also from watching free lectures on line and interacting with people on support help sites who often have good insights and know of good resources. They also spur good ideas and provide good peer pressure.

I usually find all kinds of resources, including free government or non-profit organization help, and on-line virtual resources also.

Here's example seach results for your situation:

Google search result:

https://www.google.com/search?q=free+resources+for+purging

Bing search results for just videos which you can quickly preview on that page by just overing over the video and click the audio x button to unmute the audio.

Please forgive any typos above.

Oh ok, yeah I will definitely do some researching to find out more info or find other places to find help.

I'm not very good when it comes to talking so sorry if (like now) I send a very small message compared to yours lol. I'm not good or used to talking much haha

You're messages seem normal to me.

My messages are always long and very detailed because that's just the way I am. I'm very detail-oriented.

Oh ok, and that's fine... Long messages explaining everything can be very helpful :)

Just remember that others experience what you are experiencing and it is okay to need help sometimes. I know it can be scary, but it helped turn my life around for the better!
