food obsession
I think my worst problem is food being too important in my life. Eating is the highlight of my day and also a source of shame. if I'm not eating food, I'm thinking about food and vice versa. its reallly sad to realize during friends hangouts that u done really have anything to say.
I felt similar to you when I was younger, people were hyper critical of my normal eating habits so I became ultra sensitive.
I think eventually I just realised, hunger is normal and we all need to eat, so why not enjoy break times and meals, instead of fearing it.
I still think about food a lot but now it's waiting to be hungry and savouring it :)
As for topics to discuss, you can stick to broad universal things, tv shows or movies, music, clothes/style..
Holidays/memories, family traditions, books, games, phone apps, sports, or you can googly questions or topics to talk about, normally one topic spurs on another one :)
I was always more of a listener, than a big talker.
I get this so deeply, it's like if I didn't know food existed what would I do, who am I without all this pain, questions making me see so much more than that cycle
