Eating Disorder - Weekly Check-in
Hey Everyone,
I wanted to create a soft space for us to pause together and check in as we move through the week. Some days feel heavier than others, and sometimes it helps just to share a little bit about where we’re at, without needing to explain too much.
How are you feeling as you come into this week?
You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you’d like, a word, a sentence, an emoji, or anything that feels comfortable for you💜

@Amanda84 I love that gifs can express so much without having to find the words. I hope you feel a little less drained soon, and are able to take time for yourself this week to do a hobby or activity that fuels you and that you enjoy💜

kinda fighting the food issues over weekend i mostly only drank pop and had some yogurt with not feeling well being somewhat hot and being stuck inside many dayds it all added up but did get out today with mom aid
@stormieandpaws It sounds like it's been pretty difficult with you being stuck inside and being hot, that can definitely impact our mood and appetite! I hope you feel better soon. Is there anything that helps make the food difficulties a little easier on days like these?
It's lovely to hear you were able to go out today with your mom, what did you end up doing whilst you were out? Spending some time outside the house with those who care about us, can help us feel a little less alone.
We're here for you if you ever want to talk more about how you are feeling, what is leading you to feel this way or to vent💜

I'm finding that *** on lollipops is actually helping my eating disorder. It's making my brain think, "Look! I'm eating food!", when in reality, I'm consuming the equivalent of a single bite of food, very slowly.
Hope this helps someone <3
Suck. Ing. The algorithm censored me XD
@jesusredeemedme2425 Hey, finding ways to calm the noise can be really difficult and i'm glad you found something that works. Please do remember that we are here for you, and you deserve to receive the nutrients that your body craves and needs💜

Emma
Thank you! Its like, I know its not good for my teeth, but can eating until I'm sick be any better? Its a bit of a tradeoff yk?
@emsworld my anorexia has came back again for 3rd time feel drained
@PawsomePaws I'm sorry to hear this, it can be so difficult to slip back into old habits, and feel that the eating disorder is taking over again particularly when you've been managing recovery. Please remember that relapse doesn't mean the progress is erased, and you showed a lot of strength by the fact you were in recovery twice prior to this most recent relapse. You are not alone in this, and we are here to support you if you would ever like to discuss further.
Sending you lots of virtual hugs💜

Emma
@emsworld thank you
@emsworld
hey so I don't eat much at all I think like a meal a day if even half andddd snacks, sometimes so...
@faithfulPenny7123
and the when I do eat all of my meals or eat a lot of food, I either forcefully throw up or naturally...
@faithfulPenny7123 Hey, thanks for reaching out and checking in with us today💜 That sounds extremely difficult, to manage not only not eating very much but when you do eat to have to manage the cycles of attempting to purge out the food. Has there been any times in the past where this has been easier for you to manage? If so, what helped during those moments.
We are here for you if you ever want to discuss further💜
