**Eating Disorders Community Check-in - Nov 5-11**

Hello Everyone,
I hope your week is starting off well. How are you doing? What would you like to do or experience this week?
I'm excited that we will soon be starting supportive chats every other week for both adults and teens. If you have thoughts on topics, I'd love to hear your thoughts as I want them to be beneficial to your recovery and your support.
Here are the questions for this week.
What is something you like about you (or something someone else has said that is good about you)?
What do you find helpful in general in getting through the day or week that is healthy?
What would you like to share about you to help us to get to know you better?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
Kristen

im doing better : ) i wish my school would unblock a site that was very good tho '^w^
Something someone else has said that is good about me is that my love handles and parts of my body are normal and worthy of love. I find it helpful to think about how worried my loved ones would be if they knew I wasn't eating enough, this helps me to eat a bit more sometimes.
Something I'd like to share is that I've been struggling with body dysmorphia for years so I'll always be understanding if anyone wants to reach out to me.
@ELI204
I love that you are able to find a motivation to eat even though it's outside of you. Any motivation that is positive, that helps us to eat when it is tough is good.
Body dysmorphia is so tough to deal with, and yet being able to hear that you have positive parts of your body is great. Thank you for offering to listen and be supportive to others going through this. Helping and supporting others also helps us!
Thanks for sharing.
