At what point is it a problem?

Hi! I'm not sure what the best words are to describe what i'm going through...

Basically I've been a super picky eater my whole life, and its gotten to the point where my diet consists of maybe 5 foods. On top of that, I've been dealing with depression over the past several months and I've been starting to lose my appetite. Its come to the point where I'll eat one meal or less a day without even realizing it. The 5 foods I can bring myself to eat taste bland and I can never finish my plate. Its not intentional-- I don't experience any body dysmporphia-- I just can't bring myself to eat, even when I feel hungry. Its rough, considering how much my family makes fun of me for it (especially over thanksgiving dinner).

Maybe it's obvious, but I'm not sure if this is considered disordered eating? I'd love some insight if you guys have any... thanks :)

@harpybarpy I'm not an expert, but I guess it only becomes a medical problem if your 5 foods are not a complete diet. Also, I've read that a deficient diet can cause symptoms very like depression. And there are medical conditions that can cause both depression and loss of appetite together. So if you're eating less and less, and having to deal with something like depression, then it seems very possible those things are related. A doctor would be able to investigate, of course.
