Low weight
Hi can anyone tell me if being 48 kg and being 1.59 in height is normal? I recommended some websites . According to them I am normal but I don't feel normal. I don't consume a normal quantity of food every day . I consume less that 1000kcal .everybody says I am too thin. And my breast doesn't have fat at all .

I hear that you don't feel normal, or eat a normal amount; you sound concerned. Do you feel too thin or is that just what others are telling you? Do you feel strong, fit, happy and healthy? Do you get stressed or obsessive/controlling about eating?
I don't know about the numbers. They are a general guide. I am shorter than you, when I was 48kg I was very thin and everyone told me I was too thin but I was very fit and healthy and active so I didn't worry. I ate a lot though, so different situation.
Have you found any answers yet? 💛

Hi tallCat! I thank you for your honesty in how you are feeling and what others are saying. Just being honest about it can be hard in itself, I've found.
I live in the USA so we have pounds, and feet/inches. But for me, your metric system message is better as numbers of these sorts can be very triggering or worrisome for me.
I agree with @VioletSpringGlade in part, but to me it is the most important part. How do you feel about your own body? Your own weight combined with your height. I agree, you do sound concerned. Are you? Maybe it only reads that way. Although this would be very hard for me, can you decipher if these questions and thoughts about your height/weight ... are these thoughts *you* have or are they thoughts that *others* are telling you about you?
I myself have an eating disorder diagnosis, but for me that has kind of been helpful (yes it sounds weird). It is almost as if my brain tells me, "ah you're fine" (that is the eating disorder speaking). So if my doctor says, "ah, Platy? you are not fine." or "Platy, I am worried about you." I'm not sure, it is like that sort of allows the healthy part of me to get stronger. The Healthy Platy says to me, "Hey, it's late! Did you have some lunch?" and "Remember, Dr. G is concerned about you." Healthy Platy reminds me too that as an adult I have to take care of me. Nobody else is going to do it for me. And well, do I truly want them to? No, because that would probably mean I was very sick and hospitalized. Eating Disorders can be very very dangerous.
I'm not sure if this is of much help at all ... but I sure do hope so!
