Yesterday, I told my father about my eating disorder. I asked him to keep secret about this to the whole family. Why? Because I believe sometimes truth also can be harmness for other people.

So, actually my family is overweight and even more than me. Sometimes, I have dilemma to tell them or not, because they are so sensitive for discussing about weight and food. My sister also has autoimune disease, so it's hard to tell them . This is also because for them , I should be grateful for having health body physically. But, I also wish, I can tell everything because that's what family for...

But, currently I am so happy because there's my father as person who can be my support and understand me 😍

Right now, I just want to recover, getting my life back, eat regularly with my family and be happy..

Wish me good luck

I'm glad that you have your father to support you for sure! How did he react to you telling him this? It's valid that you don't want to tell the rest of your family at the moment, since there's other things in their mind. I do hope your father can help you recover and have a happier life! Having a bad relationship with food can be very stressing but please know we're all here for you Purple heart

Best of lucks!

@Mel

Thankss, my father said that he will help me to recover like searching for any therapist, etc and if there's something make me angry or other pressure, I have to tell him.

That's awesome! I'm so glad he's being so supportive! It seems obvious to be - but many times parents don't get our struggles. I'm very happy for you! Sending you lots of love
