Struggling and looking for help

So I've been struggling with eating correct for a while and it's getting worse. When I eat I regret it and feel bad, and more often than not throwing up. Today I ate way over my calories and really don't want to eat tomorrow to try and balance things out. Of course I'm going to my grandparents so I have to eat and a good portion as well but it makes me sick thinking about it and I don't know what to do.

@ambitiousKiwi7186 - You said that when you eat you regret it and feel bad - that's concerning to hear, for sure! Where do you think those feelings come from? Why are those regrets or guilt coming up from eating? Have you been able to talk at all about that with family or friends to get support?

I'm not sure where the guilt cones from but I haven't been able to talk about it with family and friends can only help so much

@ambitiousKiwi7186 - you said that friends can only help so much - when they are able to help, even if it's just a little bit, what is it that they do or say that's helpful? In a perfect world, what other help would you like if anything were possible?

My friends just help take away the guilt but it doesn't make me feel any better about eating in general. I'm not sure what else would help is the problem, honestly having structure in what I eat and having no other choices besides that so I only eat what I should so then I can't feel guilty

@ambitiousKiwi7186 - That makes sense that having structure can make it a little easier - not having to make decisions in the moment about what or how much to eat because it's already been decided can definitely take away at least some of the emotion around it in the moment. How could you potentially get more structure? Could you talk to a nutritionist or dietician to get a meal plan that works for you? Could you schedule more meals with friends and people you trust and follow what they eat as a guide? Could you meal plan in advance so that you're separating the decisions about what/how much to eat from the actual mealtime to help plan for a healthy amount?

I have sit down meals with family quite often but even then I still don't feel great about eating but it's more of when I'm home alone in the summer that I struggle because I need to make myself busy some his because then I can know if I'm actually hungry
