Really not feeling good now :'(
Im sorry youre not feeling good:( hard to find a balance. I wish I knew what to say but i hope you manage to try to go healthy way as you can about it. As that would actually have more lasting affect compared to restricting and purging, but i realise is harder than it sounds. So I hope that you keep seeking support

I can remember doing the exact same thing: weighing myself and discovering a weight that only made me want to engage in ED behaviors. It's extremely anxiety provoking and triggers behaviors like restricting and purging. When those thoughts hit, I know there's nothing harder than to say no to those urges. I should point out how incredible it is that you still came to 7 Cups wanting to connect with people instead of immediately engaging in those eating disorder behaviors. What is one thing you could do to help distract you-if only for a few moments? I know messing with a fidget toy, reaching out to someone you trust (or here!), and listen to music can help ground us long enough to conquor those voices telling us to restrict or any other eating disorder behavior.
@Carly23 hi carly!
Ive tried these thing but i always end up either engaging in the original ED behaviour or a dofferent one :(
Yesterday i ate a single biscuit because i felt so hungry i felt sick but then i have the overwhelming urge to binge on them, but i didnt....i tried to distract myself but in the end i did the opposite and made myself sick :/
@Proxalina
It sounds like you're really struggling with your eating disorder. There's definitely a reason as to why we engage in these behaviors. Sometimes it's because we feel the need for control. Other times it's a way to cope with difficult emotions. I think exploring these emotions and figuring out where they're coming from could help you understand the behaviors better. It can also help us deal with those behaviors and using opposite action to conquor them. I do recognize how difficult that can be, especially when those emotions and thoughts are really strong. It's not easy, and it may help.
I was feeling happy and well at 41kg and then this binge eating thing overtook me and now I
@braveYard7258
Binging is the absolute worst. You end up with a loss of control, feeling gross, and wanting to fix it somehow even when you can't. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to accept what has happened, acknowledge it, and let your emotions tied to the binge pass. It happened, you hate it, and you, as hard as it is, accept it.
