I've had an eating disorder for some time now. My first experience was brought out from depression. I wasnt hungry and stopped eating and when I started losing weight I couldnt stop. My hair started falling out and I had lost over [Edited by Tazzie for specific weights] in less than 2 months. I gained back the weight and a couple months ago I relapsed. I stopped eating again. I went from [Edited by Tazzie for specific weights] fast. I hated my body. I couldnt eat without getting nauseous and that's only when I could convince myself to eat. I started losing body functions. I couldnt stand up long enough to shower. It gave me a sense of control though

Which is all I needed. Control over SOMETHING.

I love food and taking away something I love made me feel like I was in control of something

I'm getting better. I eat at least 2 meals day and lots of snacks. I'm back up to [Edited by Tazzie for specific weights] finally!!! My body feels healthy and stronger. But sometimes I still hate my body. Any advice on how to cope with gaining the weight back?

@selfdisciplinedDog3658 hey 3658,its nomedhg,i am really proud that you got back on the track, the thing is the body experiences changes when there is rapid weight gain/loss, it also changes the structure of one's brain, but in a good way, if you sometimes feel like its useless and not giving you results, you should focus on your health and you will see changes in your mindset as well as, the thing is to consistent in proper healthy diet and you will great in no time. I am sure you will leave out unnecessary things out and focus on what you want, keep thrieving for perfection. Best of luck.
