A Tip- Overeating ED

My nutritionist gave me a version of this scale, because I have an overeating ED.

The sweet spot is within 4-7. :)

Aim to start eating when you reach a 3-4 (preferably, don't let yourself get to a 3). Keep nutritious snacks available and easy to eat if possible (grapes, sliced apples, nuts, hardboiled eggs, veggies and hummus, etc.) so you don't reach for chips or desserts.

When you reach a 6, you would be just about satisfied. If you're not sure where exactly you are on the scale at that point, wait 15-20 minutes, and see if your body signals that you're done eating.

Thoughts? :)

@jesusredeemedme2425

Seems pretty accurate! I like your advice on the snacks!

I very very rarely reach a 8 and am generally between mid/high 3-7.

@jesusredeemedme2425

I know eating can be a struggle in both directions. I don't personally struggle very often with it unless I am super stressed or hyperfocusing. In which case I forget or feel sick when I eat.

Sending hugs, love, and prayers Kiara! :3
