Any opinions help || especially recovered ppl
So ill be 18 soon. Im heavily active on edtwt and other spaces that promote eating disorders. Ive lost an underwhelming amount of weight but im teetering on the edge of healthy bmi and underweight. I wanna be thin and I just feel like ill be happier and more confident if i am thin, i feel like the sacrifices would be worth it.
But on the other hand if i were to be a normal person i feel like id never think my body is good unless its underweight. If you recover does that change? Will i think healthier bodies are good too? Or does anyone have experience being super under weight, i just wanna know how it plays out in the long run.
I dont wanna recover currently but im just second guessing myself. I also dont think it helps im 5”4 as a boy so my self esteem is an issue to say the least. I know that this is a mess i just wanna hear peoples experiences and opinions.

Welcome to seven cups 💜🥰
Thank you for your honesty and sincerity.
I know it's not at all easy to talk about this.
I would recommend coming off however any sites that promotes eating disorders, that's not healthy or helpful in any way.
I'm sorry you are struggling with this and I'm sharing your experiences, so more people will see it, and be able to help and support you, if they have experienced similar 💜
@sa1n0 i only found out about edtwt and honestly, im horrified.
I struggle with eating food (suspected ARFID). my bmi is below healthy, and getting worse. It does not make me happy. I dont feel relieved that im not "fat" or anything. I get sick super fast because my immunity has suffered. I spend more than half of winter season sick and in pain.
Being thin is not rewarding. The whole "if you were thinner youd be happy" nonsense is a lie. These posts are by struggling people who feel powerful when you hold yourself back from eating. They think its entertaining
The sacrifices are not worth it. Once your underweight completely, you will want more. Its a trap.
I hope you figure things out, seriously. Theres so much good in you, and id hate for that to be thrown away because of this
