Hey! This is my first post ever! Looking for support.
I am a male in my mid 20's. I have known for some time that I have an eating disorder, or at least I think I do. I believe that my eating habits are correlated to my mood and mental health. I have created a really bad habit of not eating enough, and sometimes to punish myself, or just because I have no motivation to even try.
If people comment on my weight, which I know is underweight, it still triggers me. I had a friend call me a Auschwitz survivor before, or when I see my family they won't stop commenting on how they think I should eat more. I do agree with them I should and lately I have been forcing myself to stick to a meal plan, and have even been meal prepping when I have the strenght to help me.
I'm not sure what the point of this thread is, but I am quite embarrassed to be a male in my prime years with a eating disorder, although I know its a common thing I should not judge myself on. I guess I am just lookingbfor support and advice as I try to rewire my eating habits and gain some healthy weight.
Thanks for reading this and I hope you all have a wonderful remainder of your march!
Merci!
Nicholas.

Those kinds of comments are really hurtful. I’m sorry they’ve said that to you. It’s awesome to see that you’ve been doing well in sticking to a meal plan and meal prepping! Seems you’re on the right track. Hope you have a lovely rest of your march as well. <3 💜
@Boldguy22 I'm a woman myself with some kind of atypical anorexia paired with Night Eating Syndrome. I know lots about not eating enough, as I had anorexia as a teen/kid. I can only say that you should, if you can muster the courage, tell them to stop calling you names. It's not nice of them, family/friends or not.
If you want to talk about it, let me know. I'm open to talk about not eating enough, and what to do to eat more.

bonjour!
i understand how hard this problem may be. this is not your fault. maybe i can suggest focusing on yourself first before what anyone says? your progress is what matters the most. i look forward to hearing more!
