I gained weight from depression

A while ago, I didn’t care at all about how I looked and then I just ate a bunch and didn’t exercise at all. Now, I’m obese. I was overweight before, even when I did restrict and fast. Now, I’m tracking calories and trying to lose weight the healthy way, but it’s not working for me. I’m eating 1.2k calories max daily and burning about 500, I lost 5 pounds but gained a couple back and I don’t know why. I want to go back to 200 cals daily, but I’m scared my mom will notice

I hope you're feeling better now or have someone to talk too. Weight fluctuates and unfortunately, weight loss takes time.

Maybe you could find a solo or group exercise activity that's more fun for you to do, so it doesn't feel like work?

Stress overtakes us all, and food can be very comforting. It seems straightforward to eat less and hope that helps but many times hunger gets the better of us.

Can you talk to your family and say, I want to be sensible but I also want to lose some extra weight and be healthy, can you help me to do that?
