Weight gain.
Two/three years ago I suffered from anxiety induced acid reflux and I was always so nauseous that I couldn't eat so I lost weight and was actually at a great weight, I am naturally overweight.
The past year I have gained all the weight I lost and more. I've tried a deficit, working out, and tried getting my birth control changed (which I take for painful, heavy periods) and nothing seems to help. I've gotten blood work done and my doctor said there is nothing wrong with me hormonally.
Has anyone gone through this same thing, should I talk to a doctor about an eating disorder? What do I do or what can I try.
My weight causes me physical and mental discomfort and I need something to change!

I would recommend for a month keeping a journal of what you eat on a daily basis, not to be about shaming or judgement, but so that you can bring this then to a doctor, and have an honest discussion, where you tell them exactly what you need and the burden that this is placing on your life. Its a strength to ask for help! I genuinely hold that you feel better soon, in yourself!
