my parents basically just caught me purging. i feel like absolute ***. they know and they were never supposed to. can’t tell any of my friends, so i’m here. just need to be heard bc i’m actually losing it. lol

So your secret has been discovered ... and you are in a panic... I am sure many feelings swirling in your head... is this a good thing in the open others can help you now.. The secret does not go back to being one why not talk with a close friend and let it out ....
did you ever think/ plan what would happen if it came out to the open....
did they confront you yet or are you stressing what they will say/ do.
well i’ve come close to confessing one or two times, usually after a a crazy binge, but I always chicken out. i’ve always thought if i ever do tell them (highly unlikely), then it would be on my own terms.
they did confront me bc they said they heard, but i gaslit them into thinking it was just acid reflux (i’m diagnosed w GERD). after some back n forth, my mom assured me they believe me and are not worried. i just didn’t have anyone to tell, bc my friends are all in recovery and i don’t want to trigger anyone
