Hi curling!!!! Thank you for posting about your story and welcome to the community!!! Proud of you for sharing about it <3

Hello. I am new to this group and to 7 cups.
I have never been diagnosed, but I struggle with b/p and overeating. I've been dealing with this for about 5 years and I just wanted to reach out
@ohkayte
Heya and welcome to the 7 cups eating disorder support community!!! It's okie that you haven't been diagnosed your feelings and experience is valid <3 Eating issues can be very hard to talk about so I am super proud of you for posting and reaching out for help. Talking about it is the first step to recovery because eating disorders like to be hidden in secrets <3

I have never really particpated in this community, but joined quite a long time ago. I am Ship, and I suffered from Bulimia for nearly ten years. I still struggle with emotional eating, despite not binging and purging for nearly four years. I have shared my shame through conversations with many of the listeners here in the community, and by participating in some of the group discussions. I am thankful to be part of a community like this, because we understand each other. Thank you letting me share. Take care everyone

Nice to meet you Ship!!! My name is Samantha. Proud if you for sharing your story in this post! Look forward to seeing you around the community <3

hi, i just joined. I'm witchy, i suffer from anorexia, have for almost 7 years. Uhm, it's gotten a lot worse lately so I thought I'd come here and actually talk about it instead of bottling it all up inside. I recently started taking laxatives and i'm scared that i'm going to keep doing that. Thanks for letting me share and I really appreciate being able to post here.
@learningwitch
Proud of you for reaching out for support!!! Talking about feelings is super hard but it's so much better for recovery to let them out and not bottle them in. The more you talk about things, the less power it has over you. It's good to admit that you're taking laxatives because keeping it a secret can make things harder to fix. Welcome to the community <3

Hey there. It's me, Billy. :) I joined at the endddd of Janurary. ^-^
@NutellaPrince hello! I just joined this morning. How's your year going??
@Noldanismi Well... it's been going eh. But in all seriously, it's fine but could be better haha. Yours?
Hey! Ive been in
@passionateLime4239
Heya! Welcome to the community. Thank you for reaching out - I know it's a big step. I'm sorry to hear that a therapist isn't available in your area. We're here to do our best to support you however we can. Did you know we have some online options for therapy offered through 7Cups? Perhaps that could be of help to you?
You're worth so much to us, please know that. Many hugs
I'm Nol, and I'm a newbie so I'm just testing the waters.
I was diagnosed with a mess of things last year, but I've been struggling with them since I started running track in the fifth grade. I'm 23 now.
I'm obsessed with what I put in my body and more obsessed with getting it out, by either excessively burning it off or forcing it out. It's already put my body in poor condition and I'm in a constant battle between being too scared to let go of my habits and being too scared of what they will do to me.
I've tried therapy, and I don't have much of a support system. Not sure where to go from here.
Hello, @Noldanismi welcome to the community!
I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had much of a support system in the past. But our community will do our best to help support you along the way! Recovery is not always an easy journey, but it is a worthwhile one :). I can understand that struggle you have with yourself - old habits are so hard to break because they feel comfortable, we can predict them. Change can feel so daunting, and I get that. But I hope that in time you'll find that attempting to make that change is worth it in the end.
Thank you so much for testing the waters - it took a lot of courage! I hope you choose to stick around and dive in in the near future
