Gifts vs. Manipulation

I don't know who needs to hear this but gifts are meant to be given with the expectation of nothing in return. NOTHING. A gift constantly being brought up or used against you is simply a form of manipulation. I have been in relationships and friendships that emphasized gifts and "love bombing." I am here to remind people that you are DESERVING OF LOVE. Unconditional love that is not based on manipulation.

I wish I could find that love---not only within myself---with someone else that is free from being caged in their own mind as well! Wherever he is, I'm sure he is looking for someone like me too.
