Interesting Issue Helping Friend
I am a 62 year old male have a 65 year old friend. Just a friend. She recently developed mobility issues. Harder to walk and stand.
She is having difficulty showering. Hard to Get into tub.
She asked if I could help her in the shower. She of course would be nude. I would have to undress to get into shower with her.
She doesn't have many friends and has no female friends.
Advice please.

I understand how much support your friend needs.
I see you want to help her.
But still lines would be blurred.
Its good to have clear boundaries.
You could wear shorts and a t-shirt to assist.
You don't have to physically get in.
If you don't feel comfortable helping, no matter how much you want to help, you need to say no.
Always protect yourself first.

People are vulnerable and you never want anyone to think her vulnerabilities are being used against her .
Think of yourself also .
See if there are any services offered where an aid can come in and help her for a couple of hours a week.
