Would like a Friend

Read my rant down below if you like.
I have never really had a friend, and don’t know how to be one. I’ve been very isolated from other people my age since I was homeschooled all my life. Now as an adult, I feel like I missed something most important. Everywhere around me I see people talking and interacting, friends and passerby, and each time I feel a stab inside. All my family have many friends, I’m the only one alone. It gets worst, I am a twin. Though most are fascinated about twins, how could they not, they don’t have a twin, I sometimes wish I never was a twin. We are always together, always interacting socially together.
“So, which one are you?”
“Where’s the other one?”
“How are you guys?”
These are a few common phrases I get when interacting with new people. Together we always get asked things as if we weren’t two completely, absolutely, separate people. This causes a hesitation, who should answer this time? This mades it hard to even try to talk to people when I even have the chance to. People can’t remember which name goes to what sister, so most of the time I don’t get called by my name, just as one of the twins.
So because of this I finally decided to try to make a friend another way, online where you can’t see me. Can’t see a face and immediately think of my sister.
Ok now that’s out,
Somethings about me, I love creating things and art. I use pen and pencil, trying to do some more acrylic painting. I love dogs and animals, and nature, especially the trees and the ocean. Oh also I’m a 21F.
People say I’m clever, kind and helpful. Even though I have no experience being a friend or chatting online, I hope someone will maybe enjoy my company.

I just wanted to say that your post really touched me. Reading it, I don't see someone who's bad at friendship I see someone who's been given very few opportunities to experience it. Those are two very different things. Growing up homeschooled and constantly being seen as one of the twins instead of as your own person sounds incredibly isolating. It makes sense that you'd feel like you've missed out. That doesn't mean you've missed your chance. The way you wrote this already tells me a lot about you. You come across as thoughtful, self-aware, kind and genuinely interested in connecting with people. Those are wonderful qualities to have in a friend. Friendship isn't about having years of experience it's about being authentic, listening, caring and showing up. You already seem capable of those things. I also hope you know that you deserve to be known as you not as half of a pair. You have your own personality, your own interests, and your own story, and someone out there will appreciate you for exactly who you are. i genuinely hope this post brings you the kind of people you're looking for. Don't let the fear of being inexperienced stop you from reaching out. Everyone starts somewhere and I have a feeling you'll make a wonderful friend to the people who take the time to know the real you. Yeah, I’m also an artist, I drew my profile picture. I like drawing random creatures from my mind or anything that I thinks looks pretty. I’m trying to get better at acrylic painting. I’m been too nervous to post my art, but maybe I will. Hey I also work at my family’s business.

i don't have a style so I draw whatever i feel like.. sometimes god's,flowers, animals, birds or scenario...it's not decided hehe just draw nothing else

i mean landscapes or cityscapes....when we click any pictures and draw from it in our own creativity...like completely different from reality just playing with different colours

@brights0l I'm a reader and a writer as well. I like to create fictional stories or poems. I share them sometimes on here in the journal section like what I'm working on or just brainstorming. I also enjoy watching tv series or a good film. Obviously I spent numerous hours, watching content on Youtube.
Oh nice! I’ve always wanted to write a book but I have so many hobbies it’s hard. What your stories about? I love tv and movies, but I have very specific tastes so I can barely find any. Some suggestions would be nice. I haven’t gone down into YouTube quite yet, the 5min ads 1min apart kinda pushed me away.
@brights0l I like writing thrillers. I started watching the new Little House on the Prairie. I'm enjoying it so far. What type of hobbies do you got? Do you like to collect stuff? I want to start collecting flags like of all the countries around the world. So far I have a Ukraine and Ireland flag.

Thrillers, nice I love suspense. If I were to write something I would probably do like a mystery thriller something. Little house on the prairie, it sounds familiar, I’ll check it out.
Hobbies, I mostly like creating art and playing video games. I mostly draw animal like creatures or anything I find looks pleasing to me. I’m currently finishing the video game silksong, pretty hard 🥲. Do you play any video games?
I’m also I’ll say a pretty good baker and cook. One of my favourite recipes is a Filipino dessert called Biko. Do you have a favourite recipe or food?
That’s cool collecting flags. Are you first visiting the country before getting a flag (I don’t know how this works)? For me, I’m trying to collect these very specific wooden animal sculptures, so far I have four.
Do you like to do any outdoor activities? I would like to start my own garden when I have my own place, but now I mostly ride my bike around.

@brights0l Oh yeah. I usually watch watch whatever is trending. Like the other day I watched Old Henry. It's a fictional story about Billy the Kid. It was really good. I've always liked Tim Blake Nelson as an actor.
I write whatever story concept is interesting to me. I have dozens. One of them is about a waitress who picks up a hitchhiker who turns out to be a wanted felon on the run. This week I took part in a writing summit for developing premises. It was really fun. Daniel Wallace runs the events. He's a writing coach from England. He lives in the US. Cool guy.

I've had severe depression and severe social anxiety since I was 6 so I understand where you're coming from. I can't make "real friends" at school so I completely rely on my phone throughout the day so I can have actual friendships. Would love to chat

I read ur "rant".... haha, it was nice and relatable. I also don't have much friends, never had and the few online friends that I had have gotten busy in their lives and have forgotten about me which is understandable. Nowadays i feel pretty lonely ***.
