It was strange and bittersweet to realize that while I thought our friendship had simply faded away, you had been there, trying to reconnect. By the time I found your messages, so much time had already passed. Now, all I can do is wonder how you’ve been, what has happened in your life, and whether I’ll ever get the chance to hear from you again. Maybe some friendships have their own timing... sometimes we lose contact, only to be left waiting for another hello.
