Friendship
We’ve been in no contact for a solid year, and it was definitely hard getting used to not being friends or talking anymore. Yeah, I missed her, but I told myself I wouldn’t let myself get too close to her again. I feel like I took the friendship for granted. Then, a couple of days ago, she randomly FaceTimed me and texted me. We talked briefly, and then yesterday she asked if I still played Fortnite and if I wanted to play with her. I rarely even play anymore, mostly because she was always my duo and we used to play all the time.
I don’t really know how to feel about any of it. It’s been a whole year, but somehow were talking like old times, almost like nothing ever happened between us. Part of me keeps reminding myself why I said I wouldn’t let myself get too close to her again. But like I took the friendship for granted I don’t know if it was just a random moment or if I’m thinking too much into it. I’m trying not to overthink everything or let myself fall back into how things used to be, especially after it took me so long to get used to not wanting to text or call her anymore. I’m still trying to process everything.

I understand.
A year is a long time and it took you so much time to get over it.
Make sure you think hard before jumping back into anything , ask yourself is it worth it? 💛

Thank you for that appreciate it🫶🏼

A pleasure 💜
If it's not a toxic situation, I would just take it very slowly and see if things have changed for the better or if they are the same.
There are always valid reasons to distance ourselves. Maybe if you get to the point where you are both more comfortable and relaxed, you can have a heart to heart and discuss the good and bad and clear the air?
