I feel like I’m bad at making friends
No matter how hard I try I just can’t seem to make any new friends in my area. I was meant to go out tonight with people I know and they bailed on me last minute and it made me realise how lonely I actually am in my town. 😔😔

I'd like to say that it's not you, it's them. Maybe when we're out looking for friends the not suitable ones get filtered out first, you're just filtering out the ones that are not worth the time and effort. I'm sure soon you'll find your bunch and they'll be just the right match in all their mismatched ways.

its hard even trying to make new friendships I just don’t know what to talk about anymore.
How rude of them; they have problems, not you. I could relate to you. I did not move to another city. My friends did. As I get older, i notice it’s hard to make new friends. My circle is coworkers, not really a social circle. Most of my friends from the past have moved to different cities, far away from me. I sometimes feel lonely. They have kids and their own families; I don’t. I’m procrastinating but I want to, I will sign up for a ballroom dancing class by end of summer just to get out, hopefully would make new friends.
Completely understand how that would make you feel lonely sometimes. And maybe joining a new class will spark up new friendships 😊 good luck!!
