I have no friends
I’m 16. I’ve struggled with relationships my whole life. I can’t tell if I have one real friend, I’ve went through many painful situations and moments that have proven to me more every single time that these people aren’t my friends. Friendships have affected my whole life, and I really need support. For example, I usually do post a happy birthday story for my friends on there birthdays, but when my turn came non posted a story for me. To the point the my dear kind mom felt bad for me and let my sister post a happy birthdays story for me, and this is nothing compared to everything else I went through.

How are things going? Any plans for the weekend?
Stories only matter since you are 16 and being validated by others feels like the only price. It really does not work like that as i know from myself. Do something you love then you’ll meet a similar soul. Take care of that friendship and you’ll have yourself a birthday buddy. You don’t need to use *** if it makes you feel bad. And trust me all these people with endless friends posting them put so much work into their friendships. But it does not matter anyway life is great take care of your family take care of someone in need live it in a way that feels right to you. There could be unfortunately so many issues that this will be your least concern in life hopefully you’ll live a better life. Learn your worth and who you are first. Then learn about the world and all the other things. You might be interested in learning about other people too then. Online friends make sense if they live in the same city as well.
Also there will be a time where you are the popular one then you might think that it does not give you the satisfaction you need.
Coming from someone who felt like a loner at 16 now at 28 this sounds funny :D
Lots of time to grow up. You’ve been here for 16 years only. I’ve been here for 28. We have a long life ahead and lots to learn.
Please also know that not everyone will be a bad day friend, some will be there for the good days, some can only be there for the bad ones. So make a lot. I also don’t trust people but you really don’t have to sign a loyalty contract as i learned older.
