Is this okay to feel everything?
Well, I am newbie here and trying to get everything.
Most of the time this happens that we are privileged enough to have resources but deep down we still feel lonely and continuously looking for someone emotionally intelligent to understand and listen to our situation. Why i am writing this here bcz the title of this group is “making friends” why is this that everyone has a-lot of options but still we feel lonely. Is this because it’s hard for us to express or no one will understand the emotions? Is communication is getting difficult or we always run from the situation where relationships require efforts?
As a person from this generation sometimes i try to get answers and still feel like i didn’t get complete answers. Does anyone here feels the same or am i the only one who deeply think about everything?

youre not alone, its hard being in the world right now when it comes to meaningful connections. So many people but not everyone is a good match. I find that we all have different ways we percieve and accept love and when someone has a different path its alot harder to connect. If youre trying to make friends on here, put out your interests and see who also shares them - this will give you a base to build on. It is okay to feel everything and think deeply about yourself and everything thats going on in your life and around you. If you want a friend we can be pen pals as well :)
I get your point. But having similar interests can sometimes make things boring, like when you both love to sit and don’t take part in adventures isn’t it getting bizarre? Or if you have different hobbies, interests and personalities, it gets more interesting for both and the idea of surprises always stay. I am not saying your pov is wrong, it’s just after a time you both get over, everything seems dull.
Lastly, I am always open to new friendships, we can develop good bond, i can already sense it :)

yes that’s a really good point actually, where I was coming from the same hobby but different levels or views (for example reading but one person reads horror and the other romance) you came at it from the but we all act the same it will never spark a change - I sometimes find that I’m really active and some of my other friends aren’t and it’s hard to find activities we both want to do
@noneedfornamehere Your post hits so close to home. I spend 24/7 inside my own head, and it is exhausting. I think it is so hard to communicate because we are terrified of being a burden to the people around us, so we hide behind jokes or silence. You are definitely not the only one who thinks deeply about this.
