Sometimes it feels like no one stays. I’ve had a best friend for over 10 years and even now it feels like she’s gone. I’ve been so busy with work that I haven’t had time to nurture any friendship. I’ve told this friend that I haven’t a fear of everyone leaving and she still left. She was going thru a hard time medically and I wasn’t there. Work has completely taken over my life and now I just feel alone. It hurts and it sucks.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I do get it. Sometimes it feels like a lot to keep up with relationships when we’re trying to figure out our own lives despite not wanting to lose those relationships.
