Realizations
Lately, I have begun to recognize how much over extending on certain friendships I really did do, and why I say this is because I started to pull back for the sake of filling up my own cup so i can be 100% for myself and my mini family. I started to see that the more I pulled away from always giving to those that don't say anything for awhile, they stay not communicating for months on end, which then made realize the saying, "if they wanted to, they would." is a very valid statement and quote to live by.

Yes. It is a long road to picking out people good for us and prioritizing them from the abusers that was all we picked previously.

True friends put forth genuine effort into a friendship. Sounds like you were being a true fiend to not very good friends. I'm glad you are filling your own cup now. Before you know it your cupeth will runeth over!! 😁
This is exactly what I needed to see right now. I've been feeling inconsequential lately, as though I mean nothing to some of the people I would have done anything for.
