You can use a pencil using the tip to untie your pants when you tie a knot too tight, you can use two pencils as emergency Chinese chopsticks, you can use a pencil as a fire starter using the pencil sharpener, you can use a pencil to make a rope (it's complicated to explain but you can do it i swear!) 
If you take the lead out of the pencil and then cut the pencil into many small pieces, and if you do the same with pencils of different colors, you can make a necklace or a bracelet, I did it once :)
