Medusa, not sure if she's classified as "monster" monster, but you're getting turned into stone which is a sad way to go.
I think the best roommate would be a skeleton. They don't really need food, water, clothes, and you can just stuff them in a closet. They're not really that scary, and they won't take up ant resources.

Probably a mummy. I don't want to risk getting roommate pranked by one. Like, open a door, and trigger an ancient curse that makes scarabs come after me or something... I don't think so.
