I live by a lake and it is amazing at sunset. it is a huge green area and it is so very safe here. You never feel like you are in a large city. 
I can only say I am 'thankful' for the roof over my head, because I have no favorite thing about it... Sadly I hate my home.

oh, Friend , this must be really unsettling to feel that. Perhaps you have a safe space somewhere else outside of home where you can recharge when going gets tough. I didn't have a happy home as a child and I can relate. stay strong . things will get better
