If you could write a note to your younger self, what would you say in only three words?
I had two thoughts. 1) Words can hurt. 2) Try your best.
What would your note say?
Don't be afraid
Always be true.
Be true to yourself, be honest to others, and never be afraid to tell someone how you feel (still learning this lesson).
Don't do anything different. Regret isn't something you should feel. You chose your path for a reason and it has shapped you into who you are. A fighter and survivor. Never feel less then you truly are which is amazing. The knowledge you have to pass on to someone else through your experience is valuable. Even if you feel as if your breaking somedays. Even if the world feels like it's in a constant tailspin. Your almost to your goals. Don't stop.
Put yourself first.
Love isn't bad.
Don't stop writing.
You aren't fat.
You are pretty.
Your mom's wrong.
Smart is sexy.
Dress for you.
And longer than three words, but....frankly, dear don't give a d@&n about what others think! Make your own happiness.
To my younger self,
If you could have only known how unimportant all the things you became so upset about, you could have enjoyed so much more.
If I would have known how important education was to providing a better life down the road, I would have studied harder and went to college much earlier.
If I knew how ignorant I sounded throwing down f bombs out in public as a teenager, I would have kept my mouth shut or talked decently, instead of embarrassing myself thinking I was so tough and cool.
If I would have only understood that life has a way of improving with age, I would have not looked for a permanent way out when I did.
I would have told myself, I will survive, even when I didn't see how, because I did ![]()
You are stronger than you think you are, your are better and more important than people treat you, your life will so be worth the fight, so don't give up.
"You can't even read this right now"
(my younger self would be 2 months old)
when your 13, life will be shit. try make it better now please
You are loved
Don't wear fedoras.
Tell the truth
