Very important! I unfortunately didn't, let most of the few true ones fade away, so now I'm basically left wiht no friends (friends with capital "F", the ones I can count on anytime, no mater what and for everything) except my girlfriend and family, which is very sad considering I'm only 25 
Still, I'm trrying to recover some old ones.
@Pedro4TheWin1992 Keep going. Let those losses help you appreciate what the traits you most value in yourself and others. Forgive yourself for those losses and mistakes. Be compassionate with yourself. It's not too late. You deserve good friendships and friends. Don't give up.
