If you could write a note to your younger self, what would you say in only three words?
I had two thoughts. 1) Words can hurt. 2) Try your best.
What would your note say?
Be with him.
1. It will always get better (yes, worse again too - but for our sanity, focus on the better).
2. The thing that breaks you the hardest? It's NOT YOUR FAULT. On a related note when dad calls mom and you answer, say something. Even if it's just something simple.
3. Accept help, even when it's hard and humiliating; the alternative is worse.
4. It never seems like it at the time, but amazing things ARE coming.
5. Be the warrior you always were - hold on to that.
6. Take. Deep. Breaths. Center yourself. Remember that inner strength that's gotten us through worse.
7. Harrison Ford.
@luckstang7 P.S.
8. B-O-U-N-D-A-R-I-E-S!!! For the love of all that is good, set boundaries with people. You'll thank us both later!!
Live your life...
You are loved
Don't chase, be. (Don't chase your dreams, BE your dreams.)
Everything will pass
I would say...
You're small brained
They are wrong
@GhostlyLilian
(not meaning that "they" are wrong as people, but that they're wrong about us. And we were right in our perception that we couldn't do more than we were doing already and that we tried our best to do good always)
