Old Songs
What’s an old song you really like?
(If you’re a teen, I’m not talking about stuff from a decade ago. I’m talking DECADES ago hehe)
@jesusredeemedme2425 Time in a bottle... Jim Croce
@jesusredeemedme2425
American pie, leaving on a jet plane (anything by John Denver), the sound of silence (Simon & Garfunkel), Ring of fire, wouldn't it be nice.
Hope those are old enough for ya! ;)
@7Bear7 American pie is a very emotional song.. I love it!
@azurePond
Definitely is very emotional, and very well written! :3
Have you heard the Disturbed version of The Sound of Silence??? His voice will give you chills, it’s sooooo good <3 Ignore the “Disturbed” part. It’s not disturbing at all <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
I have!!!!!! It's also one of my favorites but I didn't say it cuz it's really new! :3 definitely got some shivers the first time I heard it and occasionally on replays! ;)
@jesusredeemedme2425 Vienna by Billy Joel
@jesusredeemedme2425
The Night We Met by Lord Huron but it's only a decade old.

@trueconfidant123 That's a decade old?... I refuse to accept that.. I am not that old.. Noooo😭😭😭😭
@azurePond
It's a 2015 release, Azure! 😭💓
I feel ancient too. 😭😂
But but..

@trueconfidant123 I refuse to accept 2015 was a decade ago!😭😭😭
@trueconfidant123 You know what trips me up the most? Kids born in 2015… They’re like 10 (the math is not mathing) and somehow they’re talking about football, saying 'Jude Bellingham is the GOAT.' And I’m just sitting here like.... 'What happened to Messi? Ronaldo? And what do you mean you can watch football? What do you mean you can speak? You were literally born yesterday😭 Is this the sign of aging?
@azurePond
I know right. It's insane. Time's literally flying and the math is definitely not mathing. I have nieces and nephews, makes me feel so darn old lol. 🥲💓

@trueconfidant123
Dude I have coworkers who weren’t old enough to remember or know 9/11. That blows my mind…
@jesusredeemedme2425 I was a baby when 9/11 happened so I cant defend that😭
I watched it. Live. It was terrifying.
@jesusredeemedme2425 Yeah... it was terrifying (I’ve seen the YouTube videos) but it was even more horrifying in the moment because people had no idea what was happening. I’ve heard stories—one of family members was in New York at the time and my family was worried... though worried feels like a massive understatement.
