My cat laid on my stomach today and squished his head under my phone to try and lick my face. He didn't succeed but it was fun to watch.

Spending time with my family.

I met someone who finally understands me without me taking too much effort to let him know. Problem is, I came from a 5 yr relationship who doesnt give a damn about me. And this new guy is very sensitive about us to the core and I just met him for few weeks. Scared and happy altogether at the same time.

Weirdly, Ellen Degeneres getting a special award at the Golden Globes. I'm not a big fan or anything, but her story of coming out on her TV show and being rejected by basically everyone, then making such an amazing comeback had that feel good factor...

Today I wrote in English about a loss I experienced recently. I didn't know that we were sharing it with our group members, but they all liked that I wrote. They picked my piece to share out loud with the class. I had a pretty major anxiety attack but I was able to push through. Everyone expressed sympathy and said I did a really good job on it! My teacher even said that it was well-written, which is high praise in his class! Still a little sad about the event that I wrote about, but I smiled because I did good...

And reading all of your comments made me smile

My 6yr old son and 2yr old great nephew playing together even though they're 4 yrs apart.
