[CW: unmusical violins mentioned] My grandmother was alive at the time...I remember talking with her on the phone a few days after the attacks. She said that for her, it was like the day when JFK was shot. Everyone who was alive on that day would remember exactly where they were & what they were doing in the moment they caught the news report, for the rest of their lives. She was right. I remember my situation that morning. My father & his wife were in the living room...I literally could not believe what I was seeing for the first few seconds. Took me maybe 12 seconds to comprehend what was happening.

Never understood that whole dead of night thing bc no one’s dead at night. People are sleeping or partying or at clubs or bars 😂😂😂😂😂😂 while animals depending of course on what animal it is specifically are either looking for something to eat, a home/shelter, a friend, all experiences I’ve had when I was younger and hearing such noises freaked me out so much as a child 😂😂😂
