What’s your MBTI?
And also what’s a stereotype about your mbti that you don’t quite relate to?
@Katseyecoded
Me Advocate INFJ-T😅Since you asked about a specific aspect of my INFJ-T personality that doesn't quite fit the stereotype here is my answer...
The stereotype that I don't quite relate to is that INFJs are always gentle, quiet, and avoid any confrontation at all costs.
On the contrary, while it's true that INFJs generally strive for harmony, we actually have very strong convictions and an idealistic vision for how things should be. When those core values are challenged, or when we witness injustice, we can become very firm and direct in defending what we believe in. The "Turbulent" (T) part of INFJ-T can intensify this passion, making us less inclined to avoid confrontation if it means compromising our principles or abandoning a cause we deeply believe in. So, while we might prefer peace, we're definitely not weak or passive when it comes to standing up for ourselves or for others.
Note: I am talking about myself not in common
@Tulipsmile I am also INFJ - T *high five *
@azurePond Tagging another fellow INFJ @7Bear7
@azurePond
Tanks Pond! I definitely relate a lot to what they said, there are certain beliefs and morals that if they were broken I would put up a fight for. So I get that part, but I also definitely do everything possible to avoid a real fight first. (I said really fight because I have done and plan to do martial arts again)
Also just a neat and random piece of info; the 16personalitys.com the one that has the 'type' "-a" or "-T" . The reason they have the "-T" is because the scientific community only excepts the BIG 5 personality test to be followed the scientific method. So the site (16personalitys.com) wanted to be able to have some credibility so that governments would except there test to be used in the workplace and at schools. Because of that they added the "-t" or "-a" to the types. So when you take the test from there site specifically you are also partially taking the big 5 test.
I spent a few years (on my free time) taking multiple tests multiple times, reading articles, and watching hundreds of videos about all the MBTI types, tests, and the way it was created. After all that and getting INFJ the majority of the time, while also looking deeply into myself with as little bias as possible, and I now feel confident just saying I am INFJ!
Sorry for my rant everybody thanks you for reading.
PS it has been several years since I studied up on all of this so I have forgotten some details, names, and possibly something else so please give me some grace if I said something wrong or if something has changed.
Thank you for tagging me Pond, this was fun to dig up and remember. 🩵

What's an mbti?
Or am I just slow? 😁
@Amanda84
No Amanda it's ok 😇MBTI MEANS.... Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, is a self-report questionnaire that categorizes individuals into one of 16 personality types based on their preferences in four key areas: extroversion vs. introversion, sensing vs. intuition, thinking vs. feeling, and judging vs. perceiving. It aims to increase self-awareness and understanding of personality differences.
So It help ppl understand their personality preferences and how they interact with the world, including how they direct their energy, take in information, make decisions, and approach the outside 🌍
@Tulipsmile

@azurePond
I shall, thank you 🥰
The MBTI assessment identifies people as one of 16 MBTI personality types. Each type reflects how a person naturally prefers to direct and receive energy, take in information, make decisions, and approach the outside world. Knowing this provides a powerful framework for understanding and relating to people
I took the assessment on the 16personalities website as well as many other sites but and I always get the same results ENFP
ISFP-T
@Katseyecoded
ISFP-T labeled as 100% Introverted. But I've known that for decades.
