Don't Wait Until You Can't Chew: Let's Talk Dental Health!
Dental health deserves way more attention than it usually gets. Regular check-ups and a good self-care routine are a must, because your teeth won't brush themselves!
For starters,
What's your go-to toothpaste brand?
If you would like to pitch in more,
What are some of your all-time favourite dental tips you'd love to share with the community?

@trueconfidant123
Colgate for the win! XD I don’t really have a favourite toothpaste brand lol, just whichever doesn’t have a terrible after-taste is good enough I feel!
How about you?
My favourite dental hygiene tip is to use a dental floss as it can reach areas where our toothbrush cannot, for that extra cleaning lol!
Speaking of cleaning, don’t forget the tongueeeee! Tongue scraper to the rescue~ but be gentle with it, especially as a beginner!
I tend to forget sometimes but it really helps to change our toothbrushes every 3-5 months~ don’t wait till the bristles fall out hehe!
And bristles~ using toothbrushes with softer bristles!

Those are some very useful tips. Thank you for sharing. I cannot recommend using a tongue scraper enough. It's a part of my everyday dental cleaning routine.
I've been using a neem based herbal toothpaste. I might change this because I'm not very trustful of this brand as I'm growing more aware lol. 🦷❣️
@trueconfidant123 happy to share!

Tips
Dont brush like that GIF. As a kid I was never taught and so I just copied what i saw the cartoons did. I was also aggressive at it so it wore away front gums.
Another Bonus tip try not to snack too often.
Depending on the type of food or how often you do. This can make the plaque PH levels dip to a point where tooth decay can happen. This is the reason you hear wait 30-45 minutes until after you eat for remineralization to happen. So you dont accidentally brush while your teeth are soft and against food still in your mouth. That time can sometimes vary too depending on the food you ate and your saliva. So drink water to help the process.
It's not a toothpaste brand, but even better, my daughter liked to watch TheBentist on YouTube. He sells affordable products like an electric toothbrush and a water flosser that we have invested in for her. I didn't watch a lot of his content, but since she liked him as a young person I believe he makes dental care cool. I just know he is a young dentist with a channel.
I think the best tip I have ever gotten and have used for so many years is to use the sonicare toothbrush! It is so worth the money, and I have had mine for maybe 10 years. There are probably other quality electric toothbrushes, but I am happy with the Sonicare brush.
As someone who wears braces, I cannot stress the importance of flossing. Water flossing is great, it get rids of all those small bits stuck which a normal brush can't catch. Plus my teeth feel super clean after which makes me feel good, like I feel like I got them just cleaned from the dentist.
For toothpaste brand, I use pepsodent. Hopefully that's available in other countries as well :)
