I realized, I haven't actually done my own AMA before? So I suppose that's what I'm doing. 😅

I've been told I have a LOT of stories and information, and I figured it wouldn't hurt to give this a shot! Ask me anything! (With maybe a few exceptions but that's about it!) 😊

@Heather225 Hello! I think I discovered this site a year ago after I was trying to find a better, more enjoyable place to talk, and help others. I was struggling with a whole ordeal of other problems, most of which aren't what I'm dealing with anymore, but rather, they evolved. 😊

Tell us about the most supportive people you’ve ever had in your life <3

@jesusredeemedme2425 As of right now? I definitely have a pretty good support system with quite many of them, so it's hard to name them all 😅

I'll be honest, and without name-dropping anyone (to maintain their privacy as well - that's an unspoken boundary usually... I think, but I always keep that in mind anyhow until I'm told otherwise), 3 of my partners, and at least one of my friends currently have been extremely supportive! That's not to say no one else is in that regard, but I suffer from shyness and anxiety at the thought of disappointing anyone so I usually add several precautions before naming an answer I'm typically supposed to be safe answering.

With me, my definition of supportive, is someone who doesn't hold back on needing my support (because I feel terrible if it's one-sided, it indicates different views that conflict, that's almost a terrifying aspect of any friendship or relationship is that you don't see some important values the same as the other.) as long as I can also comfort and support the other while I get the same in return, that in itself seems fair... in my experience, but I could also be wrong. I do have common aspects like how love should be unconditional, and if it were conditional, then it's most definitely not a good sign at all.

For me, I require active listening when I do talk about something, especially passionately. Sometimes I get flashbacks or horrid thoughts, typically within the flashbacks or separate. Either way, the supportive people in my life always tend to make me feel happy, be it we talk for awhile, play games, or we sit down and enjoy videos, movies... all sorts like that. I always feel happy if I'm allowed to communicate what helps in that moment especially, since recovery isn't ever linear.

... I apologize about going in a tangent, I've been in a social withdrawal today for awhile so I haven't had the chance to simply write out what I wouldn't normally write in a journal or elsewhere, I'm sorry! 😅 I think I answered the question though.

What’s your favorite meal?

@jesusredeemedme2425 I just so happen to be simple sometimes and enjoy a bowl of ramen with some soft-boiled eggs, kimchi, green onions, jalapenos/bell peppers, other peppers, maybe extra ingredients and seasonings while it's cooking. 🙂
