Well, it seems relationships (or lack thereof) are still a top issue. I kinda hoped I would be serenely settled by my age, but fat chance!
Gosh brave I totally hear that. I've been in two long term relationships, stating for all the wrong reasons and now I find myself alone. Took a while to get used to. Now I want to date but sometimes feel like I can't be bothered. Ha!
I don't think I'll be dating again. I was perfectly happy alone for years. Had a couple of long term relationships, but always neatly kept my home life separate. the relationship I'm currently trying to get over has torn me apart though. I allowed and for the first time wanted the person in my life, and as part of my family, lesson well and truly learned - I hope!
@brave, gosh I'm sorry you got hurt so badly in this relationship. I think I understand as my last relationship sounds a lot like that. When it ended 5. 1/2 years ago I was traumatized. I have difficulty seeing or admitting signs exist and I also stay for all the wrong reasons. I hope that you are able to get support here! 😊
