What's in his mind?

So...

I used to be close with a certain guy at school. The main thing that makes us close is that he asked me for my help on moving on from his crush. Except for that, we talked other things too. We're so freaking close, he actually asked me to sit next to him during class so we could chat.

The one thing that makes me happy is that no girl, in my opinion, has been so close to him as me.

We also texted. Sometimes he greeted me first.

Then, starting the second semester, I saw him walking toward my direction from his locker. He "hi"ed me with a bright smile on his face. I felt so happy but I only answered with a simple hi with a small smile.

Since that day, we're like strangers. We barely even talk... i started to think that it was all bc of the way I "hi"ed him. I know, weird.

Moving on, everytime i try to chat with him his answers are always short. So i started to think "what did i do?".
