Sometimes we try so hard to force a relationship to work because we are in love with the potential of what it could be, rather than the reality of what it actually is. It takes immense courage to realize that love alone isn't always enough to build a lifetime on. Letting go doesn't mean you failed; it just means you're finally choosing yourself.
