Am I the Only One Who...?
Hey everyone 💚
I’ve been thinking lately about how often we feel alone in our thoughts — like no one else could possibly feel the way we do. I wanted to create a space where we can break that silence.
This is a thread where we can all finish the sentence:
👉 “Am I the only one who…”
Whether it’s something deep, awkward, random, emotional, or just super specific — share it here. Chances are, someone else will relate.
✨ A few examples:
-
Am I the only one who feels drained after being around people, even the ones I love?
-
Am I the only one who finds it hard to celebrate my own achievements?
-
Am I the only one who overthinks literally everything?
You’re not weird. You’re not broken. You're human. 🫶
Feel free to reply to others too — a simple “me too” can make someone feel seen. 💬
Let’s be real, be kind, and remind each other that we’re not alone in how we feel. I’ll go first in the comments ⬇️
With care,

@Eman144 Hey Eman 💚
Thank you for creating this space — it feels like oxygen for the heart. Sometimes the world moves so fast, we forget how many quiet battles we’re all fighting just beneath the surface.
“Am I the only one who pretends to be okay so well, even I start to believe it... until I’m alone?”
There are nights when silence feels louder than noise. Moments where I scroll, scroll, scroll — not to connect, but to escape. And sometimes I catch myself wishing someone would notice I’m not as strong as I look.
But in this thread, something feels different. This is a space where masks get heavy and honesty becomes healing. Where “me too” feels like a hand on your shoulder in a dark room.
To anyone who reads this and nods quietly — you’re not the only one. You never were. You just needed a space like this to remember.

That was beautifully said — and deeply felt.
Thank you for putting into words what so many carry silently. There’s such quiet power in admitting, “I’m not always okay,” especially in a world that rewards the appearance of strength more than the reality of struggle.
That line — “me too” feels like a hand on your shoulder in a dark room — is exactly what spaces like this are meant for. A reminder that behind every strong face is a story, a storm weathered, a quiet battle still being fought. And sometimes, just knowing someone else understands is enough to keep going.
If you're here reading this and feeling seen, hold on to that. You're not alone — not in the pretending, not in the pain, and certainly not in the healing.
This space is yours, too.

Am I the only one who overthinks literally everything?
Am I the only one who self sabotages?
Am I the only one who can't ever seem to say the right thing?
Am I the only one who can't let the words out she want to say for that reason?
Am I the only one that can't handle affection when they're feeling very angry or very depressed.
Am I the only one who has so much to be grateful for, but still can't seem to get out of this little funk.
Am I the only one who pushes people away because I'm so scared that when they see who I can really be they would be disgusted and leave.
Am I the only one who can never be mean to someone even if they've done extremely unforgivable things to you.
Am I the only one who feels like giving up sometimes
Am I the only one who doesn't want to talk to people coz they're busy......but feels terribly lonely inside

You're definitely not the only one who feels that way. It’s a complicated place to be — wanting connection but also feeling like you don’t have the energy or time to reach out, or maybe even feeling like others are too busy for you. That kind of loneliness can sneak in even when life is full of tasks and distractions.
It's okay to feel that conflict. You're not wrong for needing space, and you're not weak for feeling lonely either. Both can exist at the same time. If it helps, even just talking about it like this — acknowledging it — is a step toward feeling a little less alone.
