Broken Family
My fiancé and father of my two children (4 &1) has decided that he is done with this relationship. He has decided to move out and is looking for apartments. He has been emotionally checked out for so long. I have been trying and trying and there is no convincing him.. he is done. I have been very heartbroken and feeling alone. I am a stay at home mom to our sons and have been since I was pregnant with my oldest. This leaves me in a very vulnerable position. I have no support nearby and my family has never been much of a support system for me. I’m very very heartbroken. Not sure what I’m going to do. Not sure how we are going to explain this to my oldest. Not sure how I’m suddenly going to share time with the kids.. the thought is absolutely devastating to me. I planned to homeschool. I never wanted a broken family. I feel discarded. I just really really need support right now.
@warmheartedTortoise1810 Just terrible how he just left and moved on while knowing fully well he is a father to 2 young children. This is no way anyone should behave which is injustice to you as well. There has to be a process and some sort of plan.
Children do not need adult details or emotional burdens; they just need to know they are safe and loved. And, you as their mom can do just that. Nothing can ever replace a moms love ❤
Take your time to assess the situation, reach out to friends or anyone who can support emotionally. Nobody wants a broken family. Sadly, this has happened and you will have to try to best get yourself up and move on. Easy to say I know. I do hope you gather the strength to move on. Please feel free to message if you like to chat or even vent. My best wishes❤

Thank you for sharing how you feel. It takes a very strong person to be able to confide in total strangers. I have also been in a similar situation, and it is a scary thing having to start over and learn to navigate this on your own. But I want you to know that you are not alone—we are here to support you and to listen.
Believe it or not, you are a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for. Right now, everything feels overwhelming and heartbreaking, especially facing so many sudden changes as a stay-at-home mom with no local support system. Feeling scared, discarded, and grieving the future you planned for your boys is completely natural.
Please remember that you don't have to figure out every single detail—like co-parenting, work, or homeschooling—all at once. Take it one hour and one day at a time. After the initial shock settles, you will learn how to navigate this obstacle. Your love for your boys is clear, and we are right here to walk through this with you whenever you need to vent.
Hey ..you have to be strong when there's no other option right. I understand how you feel at the moment because I have been raising my children without much support from my spouse as well .the only thing I have realised is that when it comes to children the strength comes .feel free to connect will be happy to help.
