Choosing my own narrative

- I’ve spent a long time being defined by how others saw me, or how they chose to talk about me when I wasn't in the room. I’m realizing now that their "discussion" was never actually about who I am; it was a reflection of their own character. I'm here to reclaim my story and focus on my own growth. Has anyone else had to "unlearn" the labels people tried to put on them?

Yes.
As a woman especially you are told many things, don't wear this, or wear that.
You are too loud.
Too dramatic.
Too irrational.
Too sensitive.
Too loose.
Or a prude.
You are told if you are intelligent, atleast you have brains.
When you are attractive, you are told you are dim.
I've learnt , I write my own script.
I create that narrative!
I hold the pen!
