@appledog2006 Dear young friend,

Firstly, I want to commend you for your introspection and for asking such thought-provoking questions at your age. It's natural to feel confused when faced with contradictory perspectives, but let me assure you that you're not alone in your quest for understanding.

Respecting yourself and living according to your own opinions can indeed seem contradictory when viewed superficially. However, it's important to explore these concepts more deeply to find clarity.

Respecting yourself is about recognizing your inherent worth and value as an individual. It means acknowledging your strengths, embracing your uniqueness, and treating yourself with kindness and compassion. When you respect yourself, you establish healthy boundaries, prioritize your well-being, and make choices that align with your values and beliefs.

Living according to your own opinions is about embracing your autonomy and individuality. It means listening to your inner voice, following your instincts, and making decisions based on what feels right for you. It involves considering different perspectives, seeking knowledge, and forming your own judgments.

Now, here's where the harmony lies: Respecting yourself doesn't necessarily mean disregarding or rejecting other people's opinions altogether. It's about recognizing that while external opinions can provide insights and perspectives, ultimately, you have the right to make decisions that align with your authentic self. It's about finding a balance between valuing your own thoughts and feelings while remaining open to learning and growth.

Respecting yourself doesn't solely depend on seeking validation from others. It starts from within, from recognizing your self-worth and acknowledging that your opinions and beliefs are valid. By living authentically, you create a foundation of self-respect that is not dependent on others' approval.

So, my young friend, it's perfectly natural to find these perspectives contradictory at first glance. But with a deeper understanding, you can integrate both concepts into a harmonious and empowering way of living. Embrace your uniqueness, listen to your inner voice, respect yourself, and be open to the wisdom that others can offer. It's a lifelong journey of self-discovery, and you have all the potential within you to navigate it with wisdom and clarity.

Keep asking questions, seeking knowledge, and embracing your individuality. You're on a path of growth and self-awareness, and with time, the answers you seek will become clearer. Trust in yourself, be patient with the process, and know that you have the power to shape your own journey.

Wishing you a life filled with self-respect, authenticity, and a deep sense of inner harmony.

Hello, my friend, remember to respect yourself first and extend due respect to others, not because they deserve it, but because it reflects your upbringing. Take the time to listen to everyone, analyze their perspectives, and respond thoughtfully. Don't allow yourself to be overly influenced by others. This is your moment to explore new things. As a human, you have the right to make mistakes, so don't be too hard on yourself. Reading as much as you can will bring enlightenment to your life. I wish you the best of luck for your future endeavors.
