Does Anyone Else Randomly Feel Sad?
Sometimes when I am having a conversation with someone (my mom especially) and we are discussing our accomplishments or happy experiences I will suddenly feel an ache in my throat and tears in my eyes. I don't know if it is just built up sadness or why I am feeling that way? Does this happen to anyone else?

HI! I'm not sure your situation with your mother or if these are more happy tears? Based on the closing throat I'm going to assume it's not happy.
Me personally I was told I was smart and would do great things, just to leave college and be jobless for months. I felt like I disappointed the people who believed in me so when I would talk about my achievements new or old (usually old) I'd get choked up and cry. I felt that disappointment to a crippling degree and like I was never going to make anything of myself. It took meeting the right people to tell me that those 'failures' weren't what defined me. That it's getting back up and trying again that will measure my success.
Either way, it is okay to feel that sadness even if you don't know the root. You seem like a genuine person and I'd like you to know you're not alone :) Even if our reasons aren't the same you are not alone.
I don't know if this helps at all but that's okay. Have a good day!
@redTree7626 same :/
Yes this happens to me a lot
@redTree7626 yeah I do🙁 maybe it's fear of missing out, things you may have wanted to have done by now, or wishing things where different. Or possibly longing for days gone by. Gives you a giant tiny hug 💗💗
@redTree7626 this happens to me, but for me, it's not necessarily sadness, but rather, when i get to a stage where alot of emotions are coming out all at once, because I don't process them when i should 🥺♥️
