@justme7522 Hi. Yeah it has gotten pretty bad. Didn’t always used to be so bad. Maybe try to look for specific listeners rather than just the general random pool. If I were currently a listener I would invite you to contact me. Perhaps a listener will respond to this thread. Some listeners are really awesome. Hopefully you can actually get something from this site instead of frustration.

How weird. This was the first thing in my feed, yet it, and the reply, were posted three months ago. 👀

Such a shame that you are experiencing such listeners who are either just looking to level up or I dont know.

When looking for a good listener a few key points to check:
1. verified listeners - these are listeners who go through mock exams that are monitored by mentors and are checked that they meet the criteria of being a verified listener

2. Reviews - always good to see what type of reviews the listener has

3. Read their page , some actually write what type of listener they are and the type of subjects that they involve themselves in

4. Ask them if they have time - some listeners take too many chats at once and are unable to answer

There are many wonderful listeners here I have had the privilege to meet a few very good ones that really take the time and effort .

I had a great listener, who I was getting on with really well. They were absolutely fantastic...and then out of nowhere they disappear. If they had let me know that they could no longer be on here I would understand. But to just disappear and not say anything?!

Hello @justme7522 I'm sorry that you have to go through something like this :( Fyi, Listener here also have their life to live, maybe they were busy at most time. Again, it's not your fault that you find it hard to find a good listener who's always online. I myself cannot be fully online as well, because I'm far from the USA, I live in South East Asia which my time zone is GMT +7. So yeah, I hope this message helps you understand more about listeners in 7 Cups.

But, although I might not be available most of the times, I will always try to reply at least once a day, for that has been my principle and dedication here :)
