Green Lime’s Brain Dump

Hello!

I am here to do a brain dump.

First of all, I’m not sure if I really want to, but I guess I will.

Anxiety about tomorrow - every single day, except for maybe days I don’t have anything going on the next day.

The laundry is piled up and needs to be done tomorrow.

I also should go grocery shopping tomorrow.

I am thinking of volunteering somewhere, maybe the library.

My mom is not her normal self because she just had surgery and just got home 2 days ago.

Am I going to end up as a caregiver for my mom because I never moved out?

I hope my mom doesn’t die. Man, I hope she doesn’t die.

I saw my psychiatrist today.

Why is going to bed so hard?

Will my papers for my bloodwork come in time?

I feel guilty for not using a certain Christmas gift very much so far. It is a musical instrument.

How real is 7 Cups? How much does it matter? How much does it help people? Is Noni good or bad?

Should I volunteer? Where should I volunteer? Is it the best way right now to make new friends?

I guess that’s it for now. Thanks for reading.

Hey there, thanks so much for this post and for sharing what's on your mind. How did it feel to write it and to see it all typed out? I do something similar, I call it morning pages where I write down what I'm worried about, and it helps me get a little distance from my feelings.

I hear you about anxiety for the next day, that's tough - it sounds like you're dealing with a lot at the moment with your tests, your mother's illness and your own mental health. I hope you can find the time to be kind to yourself today, I get the sense that you put a lot of pressure on yourself to be and think a certain way, and all those shoulds sound exhausting!

Really happy to chat through anything 1:1 if it would be helpful. 💚

I'm happy to talk if it helps, Lyra reaches out to me about a month ago and talking reagularly her has been a huge help and comfort to me. The biggest lesson I've learnt joining 7 Cups is that I'm not as alone as I felt, the loneliness still feels oppressive at times, but talking and the feeling that maybe it's helping others too is a powerful antidote, aonfor me least 7 cups is real, very real...

I moved back in as a live in carer for my parents before they passed away, yea it made life much busier but during the period I treasure some of the conversationa I had with both of them, I felt much closer to them. I know it might sound corny, it is to me until recently but looking for small moments to be grateful for, noting emotions and journalling about them has become a pleasure not a chore, it has brightened my outlook.

I get frustrated by the 'Green Limes' at work, I replenish the fruit and veg section of a supermarket during night shifts, I can guarantee that at least on the lines will do an escape act, that I'll end up chasing across the floor ð¤ªð¤ªð¤ª
