How hard is it to get put in metal hospitals and/or psych ward?

I’m very concerned about my mental state I’ve been struggling for like the past almost two months with no sign of getting help anytime soon I feel like my mental state is deteriorating I’ve been having intrusive thoughts and it’s like they’re consuming me and like I’m starting to agree with them or not see a problem with them I’m scared and I don’t want to become a bad person or hurt anyone I feel like I desperately need some kind of urgent help to keep me from getting worse and thinking bad things and I’m thinking about calling a crisis line and trying to get hospitalized but I’m worried they won’t take me because it’s like I think this is normal but I also know it’s not I don’t know how to explain or what to do I just know I can’t keep going without help I’ll only get worse
